I loved the food and service. Nice cosy little place.
Another wonderful Seattle institution. Very good Thai food at very good prices for a very good value. I've loved Mae Phim for 20 years.
Was downtown for jury duty, visited my favorite Thai place when I worked downtown. As good as I'd remembered.
I had the Bun Hit Nuong Beef (beef vermicelli). It was delicious, with a LOT of fresh vegetables, bean sprouts, rich flavor. Very nice. I would definitely go back to try something else. A plus is that they offer online ordering.
Great food, one of my favorite stops for lunch. They do a good job of letting people take orders to go and have plenty of seating if you want to stay. All food has pictures on the wall making it easy to decide on a meal if you're not familiar with the menu descriptions.
Good food at good prices. Great lunch place for those working downtown.
Great hole in the wall! Very accomodating and warm. Homey and authentic!
My 4-Star spicy Chicken Pad Thai here was really good. I'd certainly go back if in the area.
The pad Thai was very good...large portion. I should've gotten it a bit spicier. Service was great ...very friendly lady❗️
Portions seem relatively small. Food was good. Would recommend for takeout.
This has been my favorite restaurant for 22 years. I live out of state now and when I come home to visit family this place is on the top of my list. Fast service and amazing, consistent food.
Been going here for lunch for years. Affordable good food downtown.
Very good very authentic, decent portion sizes, kids loved the pad see ew, the mock duck was delish but not duck
It is quite hot inside in this period of time. Great price for the quality of the product you get. So basically it's a low budget place
Went there for lunch. Food was good, and very filling. Pretty nice mom and pop hole in the wall type of a joint. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, and it was good. Will be coming back.
Food is OK, little hole in the wall location but very small portion for dinner/take away. A lot of rice.
Good food good prices funky space.
So good, looks bad, sort of a hole in the wall the the food is really great. Especially if you like it a bit spicy.
A very delicious place to get lunch in downtown Seattle. The food here is amazing and the prices are very cheap. It really doesn't get much better than this for Thai food in Seattle. Please note that this is a very "hole-in-the-wall" type of place and probably would not be suitable for a first/second/third date unless you know your date enjoys places like this. In summer it can get pretty hot and stuffy but the food is well worth it.
Decent Thai at a good price :) good flavor, good portions:) stop by !
I think I've maybe eaten here more than any other one place in this city
Great flavor. Good portion sizes. Little too much oil. Super quick.
If you like real Thai food, than this is a place in Seattle that you should visit. The food is very good and authentic. The Pad Thai is always a good test meal, and at Mae Phim’s it’s delicious. Also extra kuddo’s for the Sticky Rice with Mango. We loved this place so much that we visited it all 3 days of our stay in Seattle (sometimes lunch, sometimes for dinner). Prices of most meals are between $10 & $13.
Food is tasty and the price is definitely right. Extremely compact seating. Tough to get more than 5 folks at the same table, FYI. Total capacity is probably 26 or so. Nice to grab an early lunch here. Service is always fast and friendly.
I love this quaint little Thai spot with amazing prices for great food. Honestly I don’t know how they offer it so cheap these days. The menu is familiar and they are so friendly and willing to make any substitutions needed. The seating is cozy, maybe 12 tables which can get packed at lunch. Catch them for an early dinner and they are way less busy. My fave is the Thai basil or the cashew nut. So good! Always quick and fresh.
Love that this restaurant has been in Seattle for 27years! Love #6!
The salmon curry was mind blowing!
Every time I have come here there is a small wait due to this place having the best pho in town! I love their noodle dishes and lunch combos. My bf and I have made this our usual pho/Thai place.
Value +++ Great flavor. This place's been around over 20 years coz of good quality affordable food. Very popular lunch place. After office lunch crowd, chill place to eat.
Somewhat inconsistent but almost always really tasty. Weird thing about this place is regardless of how many stars one requests it will not be spicy. If getting the same dish the exact same way every time you go to a place is important than this may not be an ideal place to eat. Very nice staff, extraordinarily fast and fresh.
These guys are phenomenal! Amazing experience and speedy food every time I go. The owners are all really nice. My favorite Thai downtown!
Decent Thai food on 1st and Columbia. Tried the pork phad Thai. It was ok. Not bad, not great, but decently priced. Will go back and try another dish.
It's great if you need some street food Thai. Mae Phim is 5 stars for that!
The rest room is tiny but clean. And the same goes for the dining area. With that being said the food was fantastic! It came out quick. It was the spice level I had asked for. Even my potstickers were done up nicely! I just stopped in for a snack but after eating my snack I ordered some food to go! I was very impressed :-)
Thai food and the atmosphere at this place is excellent. a preferred evening place. the staff was helpful and kind. it has an awesome atmosphere.
Such a cute little place to come and eat if you'd blink you'd pass it! So cozy and the fried rice was awesome!!! Wasn't even busy and the price was so good for being so close to downtown not sure why other people haven't discovered this yet.
Everyone's food was excellent except my pad see we. It was too salty to eat. They were good enough to bring me some extra vegetables to dilute it. I still couldn't eat the noodles.
The food is good and fast. A great lunch spot.
Heard good things, excited to try it and was kinda disappointed overall. Ordered the mixed vegetables with chicken. Was a very small portion of mostly rice and four carrot slices a few chunks of celery. There was very little chicken anywhere on the plate. The Pad Thai was pretty good tasting but again VERY little chicken and very small portion. Sadly, won't be going back.
I had the orange beef and brown rice. I felt welcomed. Good experience. Will have to come back!
So good! Quiet and chill, food was delicious.
Fantastic Thai food at a great price. Try the swimming rama!
Absolutely the cutest little gem! Didn't know what to expect going in but the food was awesome (I had the chicken pad Thai), ideal for 2. I only give it 4/5 because the devour/furnishings leave a little to be desired. Definitely not a "fancy" restaurant.
A Seattle classic for those in the know. Get the penang beef
They were super accommodating of our large party, the food came out insanely fast after we ordered it, and I took just one bite and started writing this review it was so good. The price is also incredible for the quality. Please give them more business, I have only good things to say.
Best thai I've had. Too bad it's not in my hometown. The Pineapple Chicken is to die for.
Been visiting this place since 2006 and I love it. They are fast and affordable with quality food. Big fan of their Mae Phim special.
Standard Thai food at a reasonable price. I had pad see Ewart found it tasty but greasy. Comfy and simple furnishings. A find place to have lunch with someone you know well.
Very good food. I would go back there in a heartbeat
I used to eat lunch here daily, but my office moved, and alas.... I loved the Panang curry and try to return here when I’m in downtown Seattle. Always crowded, but still very quick service. The owners are friendly, the food is incredible, the decor is pretty bad though, they need some mood lighting and to hire an interior decorator to make it more inviting. The food is so good though, it more than makes up for the interior. Thank you so much!
